Introduction

BHRUT is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic midwife to join as a Band 7 Senior Midwife Manager for the Antenatal Clinic. Candidates must be NMC-registered with an NMC PIN and interested in making a difference to women and their families. This role offers opportunities for professional and personal development, leadership enhancement, and contributing to high-quality maternity care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage midwifery and nursing staff and resources within the ward/department, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective clinical care.
  2. Collaborate with Lead Midwives to develop and promote midwifery and clinical practices.
  3. Set and monitor clinical and non-clinical performance standards, intervening when necessary in conjunction with obstetric colleagues.
  4. Participate in rotational Senior Midwifery Manager posts at BHRUT.
