Role: Senior Middle Office Analyst

Type: Permanent

Salary: up to £65,000 DOE

Location: Central London (hybrid)

Job Description:

A leading Energy & Commodities company, owning one of the largest energy portfolios in the world, is seeking a Senior Middle Office Analyst to join their P&L team. You will be responsible for P&L production, market risk, and credit risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the production of daily P&L reports and consolidate all trade book reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Raise queries to traders regarding booking changes or business practices.
• Support month-end financial closing processes, explaining provision requirements.
• Contribute to team leadership, including training and mentoring.
• Calculate IR and FX impacts on P&L, collaborating with the treasury team.

Requirements:

• Experience in energy or commodity trading environments.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with multiple tasks.
• Experience in analysis presentation for management.
• Adaptive problem-solving skills and ability to work in diverse teams.
• Experience with P&L in physical commodities (Energy, Power, Oil, LNG, Gas, Coal, etc.).
