Job summary

Hylands Primary School in Havering is seeking a dedicated, caring leader to head our Midday Assistants, manage duty rotas, prepare resources and ensure lunchtimes are safe, structured and enjoyable for all children.

The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team, show initiative, have high standards, and be flexible and hardworking. References may be requested; interview date is 22 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing a team of midday staff.
• Ability to plan and organise rotas and resources.
• Ability to engage with children and create a positive lunchtime experience.

Hours: 13 Hours per week, 38 weeks per year (10.30am-13.35pm 1dpw 11am-13.30pm 4dpw)
