Job summary

Bridewell Consulting Limited is seeking a Senior Microsoft Purview Consultant to lead governance and compliance projects across Microsoft 365 and Azure.

You will design, implement, and optimize Purview configurations, working with executive stakeholders to align security controls with business goals in a hybrid work environment. The role emphasizes hands-on delivery and clear documentation, with opportunities to influence client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Deep understanding of Purview features: DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery and Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Azure integrations.
• Experience designing or auditing enterprise data governance and compliance controls.
• Strong documentation skills: low-level designs, deployment guides, client-facing summaries.
• Ability to present findings and technical designs to clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Purview solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure to meet governance and compliance goals.
• Assess customer environments to tailor Purview configurations, policies, and controls.
• Support deployments of Purview features: eDiscovery, Communication Compliance, Information Barriers, Data Classification.
• Advise on Insider Risk Management and regulatory compliance using Purview tools.
• Collaborate with C-level stakeholders and information governance teams to align solutions with policies.
• Integrate Purview with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Azure infrastructure.
• Create and maintain project documents and low-level designs.
• Liaise with customers and teams to ensure alignment of security strategies with business goals.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical teams and decision makers.
• Provide ongoing advisory to optimize compliance posture and support the wider Bridewell team.
