Job summary

Go Fractional in London is seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to design, implement, administer, and optimize Microsoft 365 services across a large enterprise. The role focuses on collaboration, identity, security, governance, and automation within the Microsoft ecosystem.

You will design and support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID and Power Platform, while providing Tier 3 support for complex issues and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure and platform engineering experience.
• 5+ years in Microsoft 365 engineering and administration.
• Hands-on expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, and Power Platform.
• Experience with Hybrid Identity, Conditional Access, MFA, and governance.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API.
• Git/GitHub experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Entra ID.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex identity, collaboration, and messaging issues.
• Manage Microsoft 365 tenant administration, licensing, governance, and user lifecycle management.
• Implement and maintain security, compliance, retention, and information protection solutions.
• Administer Entra ID, Hybrid Identity, Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Governance.
• Manage Exchange Online mail flow, transport rules, messaging security, and hybrid environments.
• Develop automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Monitor platform health, performance, security, and adoption trends.
• Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business teams on enterprise solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to Microsoft 365 roadmap and architecture decisions.
