Leonardo Worldwide Corporation is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Southampton. The role involves maintaining and repairing electronic and high vacuum equipment, with responsibilities in design and development of bespoke solutions.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electronics Engineering and possess strong technical knowledge of high vacuum systems, alongside experience in a hands-on role. The position offers a competitive salary and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, COSHH and risk assessments.
• Desirable knowledge of cryogenics and high-pressure gases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate, and repair a range of electronic equipment.
• Assist in design and build of bespoke test solutions.
• Mentor and coach less experienced team members.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge in high vacuum systems

Experience in maintenance and operation of electronic systems

Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Ability to mentor and coach team members

Willingness to learn and adapt

Education

Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
