WHAT TO EXPECT
Join the GME Propulsion team as a Senior Metrology Engineer, leading the development and launch of precision measurement systems for ICE and EV powertrains. You’ll define site-wide gauging strategies, ensuring our processes and equipment meet industry standards and support world-class manufacturing for JLR’s next- propulsion systems.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You will be a subject matter expert who can act as a trusted advisor to our manufacturing engineering teams, offering consultative guidance on metrology requirements. You should have a genuine curiosity for quality and gauging, with a solid grasp of measurement principles. The ability to communicate complex scientific and statistical concepts clearly-both technically and in simplified terms, is essential to succeed in this role.
Whilst not essential it is desible to hold experience with CMM programming, 3D scanning, surface finish analysis, and automotive quality systems
