Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is seeking a Senior Merchandiser in London for a 12-month fixed-term contract focusing on handbags and accessories. You will manage a team of four and own planning, trading and the department’s commercial strategy to achieve sales, profit, margin and stock targets.

The role requires strong merchandising experience with advanced analytics (WSSI, forecasting) and senior-level supplier management.

Qualifications

• Advanced commercial and trade analytics skills including WSSI and forecasting.
• Experience with range strategy, OTB and stock ownership.
• Senior-level supplier management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own planning, trading and delivery of the department’s commercial strategy to hit sales, profit, margin and stock targets.
• Lead WSSI and forecasting processes for the department.
• Manage stock flow, OTB and commitments and contribute to range planning and sign-off.
• Collaborate with Buying, Design and suppliers to maximise commercial opportunities.
• Identify risks and opportunities, support promotional activity and lead and develop the merchandising team.
