Job summary

NEW LOOK is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to lead the planning, trading and delivery of a department’s commercial strategy. You will manage range planning, forecasting and stock flow, using data to drive decisions and optimise sales, profit and stock targets.

You will oversee supplier relationships, collaborate with Buying, and develop the merchandising team with coaching and clear direction. The role requires strategic thinking and senior-level collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced commercial and trade analytics with data-driven decision making.
• Experience in range planning, forecasting and stock management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop merchandising teams.
• Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholder management at senior level.

Responsibilities

• Achieve department KPIs by maximizing sales and profit.
• Review WSSI and stock intake to optimise profitability and minimise risk.
• Develop ranges aligned with brand strategy and product lifecycle.
• Lead and coach the merchandising team with clear direction.
• Plan and trade independently with the Buyer and Designer to drive margin.
