A leading retailer seeks a Senior Merchandiser to oversee product performance and strategy. This role involves analyzing sales data, coaching a team, and collaborating with buyers to drive seasonal strategies. As the Senior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for overseeing product performance, strategy, and execution across all product categories, with detailed reports analyzing previous season performance. You will motivate, coach, and develop your team through regular feedback, as well as communicate with the web team regarding planned promotions.
Working in partnership with the buyer, you will ensure that crucial sales trends are highlighted, driving strategy for the next season. You will put together WSSI (Weekly Sales, Stock, and Intake) plans to support orders raised by the buying team, ensuring they align with ASP/margin plans for the department.
In this fast-paced environment, you will ensure that all KPIs are communicated to the buying team and any potential sales risks are liaised with the Head of Merchandising, along with all performance and sales risks.
