Fawkes and Reece are working with a highly reputable Tier 1 contractor known for delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK construction sector. They are currently seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their Reading and Oxford division.

The role will primarily focus on a significant life sciences project based in Reading, with further opportunities to be involved in other technically demanding schemes within the region.

Key Responsibilities for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor:

• Provide commercial input and oversight across MEP packages on large-scale life sciences projects.
• Work closely alongside the Head of Building Services to support project delivery and ensure commercial objectives are met.
• Monitor costs, manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and contract administration.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, providing robust advice to the wider project team.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the MEP commercial function within the division.
