Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the construction and MEP process.
  • Experience with NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Proven track record managing cost/value reporting and subcontractor performance.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience working on live projects in healthcare, education, or commercial sectors.

Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor
Location: North Somerset
Type: Permanent | Full-Time

We’re currently recruiting for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading contractor with a strong regional presence. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing commercial team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering a range of high-profile projects across sectors including health, education, and commercial developments.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead on MEP project financials from pre-construction through to final account
  • Oversee commercial reporting, valuations, and risk management
  • Draft and negotiate subcontracts
  • Mentor and manage junior surveyors
  • Work closely with senior management to support project and regional goals
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong understanding of the construction and MEP process
  • Experience with NEC and JCT contracts
  • Proven track record managing cost/value reporting and subcontractor performance
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ideally degree-qualified and RICS or similar (or working towards)
  • Experience working on live projects, ideally across healthcare, education, or commercial sectors
