Job summary

NORTHCROFT LIM CONSULTANTS PTE LTD is seeking an MEP Executive Senior QS to oversee cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration and cost control for MEP works on construction projects.

The role requires analysing drawings, preparing estimates, evaluating bids, administering contracts, and handling interim/final valuations, variations and final accounts to ensure financial targets are met. You will drive risk management and reporting across projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years & above of experience in Quantity Surveying Consultancy Firm or Construction Firm.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Excellent skills with relevant cost estimation software, AUTOCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Executive communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Analyze drawings, specifications and docs to prepare accurate MEP cost estimates.
• Tendering and Procurement: Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Contract Administration: Administer contracts, review terms, variations and claims.
• Valuations and payments: Assess value of MEP works and prepare interim/final valuations.
• Change management: Manage variations and assess cost impact; document changes.
• Risk management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; monitor risk factors.
• Reporting: Provide regular financial status reports to management and stakeholders.
• Final Accounts: Prepare accurate final accounts including variations and adjustments.
