Job summary

JN Bentley Ltd is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical and process elements of water and wastewater projects within a long-term capital delivery framework. You will take end-to-end accountability for safe, timely and commercially successful delivery, from design development through handover across multiple sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MEP delivery on complex water/wastewater projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and cost management.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the operational region and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP delivery across full project lifecycle, from scope definition and design coordination through procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Develop and maintain the MEP execution plan, commissioning strategy, programme, resource plan and key deliverables.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, process and civil interfaces to ensure a buildable, integrated solution.
• Provide clear direction to engineers, supervisors, commissioning teams and specialist subcontractors, acting as the senior escalation point for MEP delivery.
• Monitor progress against milestones and implement recovery actions to protect project outcomes.
