Job summary

AA Euro Group is seeking a Senior MEP Engineer for a long-term, Birmingham-based infrastructure project. You will act as the technical authority for MEP design, installation, testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory obligations.

The role offers a permanent long-term contract with accommodation available and options for PAYE or LTD, on a major European construction programme.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards.
Experience delivering MEP systems on major infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of British Standards and Building Regulations.
Experience with design review, testing and handover activities.

Responsibilities

Act as MEP SME for HS2 assets and infrastructure works.
Provide technical leadership on mechanical, electrical and public health matters.
Review design deliverables, specs, calculations and construction methods.
Support design assurance and technical approval processes.
Ensure MEP systems comply with standards and project requirements.
Manage interfaces with architectural, civil, structural and rail systems.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, validation and handover.
Identify technical risks and value engineering opportunities.
