Job summary
Black & White Engineering is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead major mechanical design delivery for flagship projects. Based in the UK, you will shape outcomes, mentor engineers and engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative data-centre and building services solutions.
You will oversee calculations, reviews and technical deliverables while supporting business development and knowledge sharing across the practice.
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with building services consultancy experience.
- Expertise in HVAC and cooling systems within large-scale projects.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary project delivery.
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, standards and codes.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design delivery across major projects.
- Produce and review engineering calculations and designs.
- Manage project deliverables and ensure technical quality.
- Support client meetings and project workshops.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities.
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers.
- Support business development and technical initiatives.
