Job summary

NRL is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of mechanical and electrical packages on a major project. You will lead cost control, procurement, and contract administration to ensure commercial success and timely delivery.

In this role you will prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements, produce cost reports and cash flow forecasts, and manage commercial risk.

Qualifications

• Senior/lead Quantity Surveyor with strong cost control experience.
• Experience managing MEP packages on major construction projects.
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contract forms.
• Strong commercial acumen with negotiation skills.
• Proficient IT skills and cost management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial functions related to MEP packages from pre-contract through final account.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract and supplier agreements.
• Produce cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates.
• Assess and manage commercial risks with recommendations to the project team.
• Oversee valuations, payment applications, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and project schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders to support delivery.
