A healthcare organization in Oxford is seeking a registered clinician to support young people's mental health at the first point of contact. The role involves conducting assessments, collaborating with internal and external agencies, and providing training and consultation for effective support. Applicants should be registered in nursing, occupational therapy or social work with strong communication skills and an understanding of CAMHS.
Are you a confident, registered clinician ready to support young people and families at the first point of contact with mental health services?
The Oxfordshire CAMHS SPA team provides consultation, advice and support for children, young people and professionals. We promote self-help where appropriate and ensure referrals are directed to the right CAMHS pathway. The role involves joint decision-making, close work with schools, GPs and social care, and a calm, coordinated team approach.
You’ll be registered in a relevant field such as nursing, occupational therapy or social work, with strong communication skills and an understanding of CAMHS. Experience in multi-agency working is key.
We welcome applications from Band 5 clinicians looking for a supported development route into a Band 6 role.
