Job summary

Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust is recruiting a registered CBT therapist to join the MHST expansion across Mid and East Kent, including Folkestone and Canterbury. You will deliver CBT for children and young people in schools, manage a caseload, and work with colleagues to support wellbeing.

Training opportunities for Senior Wellbeing Practitioner or CYP-IAPT Supervisor are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Registered CWP or EMHP with substantial post qualifying experience.
• Experience delivering CBT for anxiety, low mood, and behavioural problems with children and young people.
• Eligibility for Senior Wellbeing Practitioner or CYP-IAPT Supervisor training is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventions within schools and colleges and manage an individual caseload.
• Support wellbeing practitioners and supervise junior staff.
• Engage in supervision and CPD to develop low intensity CBT skills.
