Are you an experienced and motivated individual looking to join a high performing mental health Trust?
GHC NHS Foundation Trust, rated ‘Good’ in our recent CQC report, has several opportunities for Mental Health Professionals to join an exciting venture. The Crisis Urgent Care service aims to improve response times and widen access for people in the community experiencing mental health crises and acute psychological distress, in line with the Crisis Care Concordat. The service also seeks to provide a joined-up approach to crisis work, collaborating with agencies such as SWAST. Our goal is to develop a fully inclusive service (age 11 to end of life) that acts as the single point of access and triage for a comprehensive care pathway.
We are now seeking highly motivated and committed Band 6 practitioners to join the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team. You will support our current team, assist with the daily operations of the service, and be professionally accountable for service users’ care. The ideal candidate will be an experienced mental health practitioner seeking a new challenge and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. We value candidates with excellent communication skills, a passion for helping those in mental health crises, and the ability to build relationships with partner agencies to facilitate effective service integration. The role requires thriving in high-pressure situations and working with specialists from various professions.
This vital service operates 24/7, and we are looking for flexible individuals willing to cover shifts at various times throughout the week. We offer a mixed economy of shifts, including long 12-hour shifts and shorter 7.5-hour shifts.
