Job description

Pulse Nursing has an exciting opportunity in South London for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join a private mental health hospital on a permanent basis.

The hospital specializes in treating various mental health challenges, including depression, drug and alcohol addiction, eating disorders, and provides inpatient and outpatient services.

We are seeking a reliable and passionate Senior RMN to work across different wards.

About the Role

You will be an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and delivering care in collaboration with patients and their families or carers. You will act as the patient's named nurse, ensuring care respects patient choices and wishes. You will contribute to a team approach to patient care alongside other team members.

A competitive salary of up to £37,439, depending on skills and experience.

Shift Pattern

You will work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a mental health setting
  • Current NMC registration
  • Completed preceptorship
  • Ability to provide clinical references
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Positive attitude and commitment to quality improvement
