Job description

As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will be responsible for:

  • Assessment and ongoing management of our patients' mental health needs.
  • Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner, managing a caseload of patients and developing a holistic healthcare plan.
  • Contributing to our nursing strategy and vision to provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients.
  • Delivering non-judgmental care, building therapeutic relationships, and promoting professional boundaries.
  • Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patients' care, following our policies and procedures, and always considering safeguarding.

This position is permanent, and you will receive an annual salary of between £43,609 - £49,175 per annum, depending on experience. We will support you with a bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course, competency framework, regional and national career development opportunities, and our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs.
