Starrycare Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse (Band 6) to join the Integrated Mental Health Team in prison settings across Staffordshire and Worcestershire. You will manage your own caseload, deliver specialist mental health assessments, and support recovery-focused, person-centred care.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with primary care, wellbeing, and secondary services while promoting evidence-based interventions and CPD

Formación

• Registered Nurse (NMC Registered – Mental Health).
• Significant experience working within mental health services.
• Experience managing complex caseloads.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience delivering specialist mental health interventions (e.g. CBT, Motivational Interviewing).
• Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a secure prison environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver specialist interventions including counselling, CBT-informed approaches, and motivational interviewing.

• Maintain accurate electronic clinical records in line with NMC standards.
• Work within the Mental Health Act and safeguarding frameworks.
• Promote recovery, harm reduction, and service user involvement.
• Contribute to audit, service development, and clinical governance.

Starrycare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Mental Health Nurse (Band 6) to join the Integrated Mental Health Team within prison settings across Staffordshire and Worcestershire.

The post holder will manage their own caseload, delivering specialist mental health assessments, care planning, and evidence-based interventions to service users within the prison environment.
