The role involves being a specialist mental health clinician with training, qualifications, and experience in assessing and providing intensive mental health interventions to children and adolescents presenting with severe mental health issues, high-risk factors, and engagement difficulties with mental health services.
This position features an assertive outreach service model, requiring clinicians to drive within the Monash Health catchment. The majority of work is community-based, meeting clients and families in environments they find comfortable. The role involves collaboration with various agencies within the catchment. All clinicians aim to deliver culturally sensitive, ethical, and legal compliant services, adhering to quality standards and risk management principles, focusing on client and family rights and responsibilities.
