Urban Outfitters seeks a Senior Design Assistant to join the Menswear Design team in London. You will assist in design development, research trends, source fabrics, and help develop a commercially viable range for UK and Europe stores and online.

You will collaborate with Buying/Merchandising to present ranges, translate concepts into CAD packs, and ensure alignment with the brand image. Proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign, and a strong fashion eye are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficient CAD – Illustrator/Photoshop and InDesign skills.
• Experience across multi-product areas is desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in design development.
• Researching and identifying latest key trends to inspire and develop new ranges.
• Sourcing fabrics and trims, identifying washes and techniques.
• Support development of an innovative, commercial range for UK & Europe across stores and online.
• Collaborating with Buying and Merchandising to source, present, and select ranges.
• Understanding brand image and contributing to seasonal concepts, colour and wash boards.
• Keeping ahead of trade, understanding key drivers and best-sellers.
• Assisting Seniors on item presentation decks.
• Creating CAD tech packs with measurements and trim references.
• Conducting trend research and analysis.
• Inspiring peers through imagery and creative vision.
• Demonstrating passion for product and trend evolution.
