Barely enough is not enough for anyone. Prosper Global is a humanitarian organization working alongside communities facing conflict, climate change, and economic hardship to meet urgent needs and create the conditions for lasting progress. Today's challenges demand new solutions, so we pair local knowledge with global resources to help communities build what's needed, test what's possible, and scale what's proven so that people everywhere can pursue a full life on their own terms. In 2026, we changed our name from Prosper Global to Prosper Global, to reflect our belief that when every community can prosper, all of humanity moves forward.
The Technical Support, Evidence, and Program Quality (TEQ) unit sits within Programs. TEQ supports program impact though direct program support, program systems and tools, and influence. Our team, in collaboration with our regional and program counterparts, provides technical leadership for all four Prosper Global impact priorities and the sectors they encompass. We bolster program quality by leading the development of guidance and tools that shape how we implement programs and how we assess program effectiveness.
In 2022, Prosper Global piloted a mechanism to measure our progress towards our strategic intent and are now scaling and regularizing associated processes. Our strategy measurement mechanism includes two important components: 1) measuring the alignment and the progress of our programs towards participant-facing strategic goals and outcomes (“Organizational Outcome Measurement”, or OOM); and 2) tracking internally facing indicators of operational health (“Organization Performance Indicators,” or OPIs).
The position is focused on OPIs, OOM and MEL program support and is part of the MEL team. They will work under the supervision of the Director of Measurement, Strategy and Program Performance, and, in collaboration with various departments, will develop systems and structures to periodically collect, report, and track our OPIs, as well as curate programmatic data. The Senior Advisor will promote appropriate integration of OPIs in country and regional strategic workplans. Additionally, the position will support OOM by analyzing and summarizing programmatic data in each of Prosper Global’s impact priorities, conducting deep dives to identify areas where operational and programmatic progress may be co-dependent, and developing OOM dashboards. In addition to working closely with TEQ and MEL, the position will also work closely with the office of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Operations Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, and People Team. The position is expected to promote the MEL Tech suite and support teams to integrate their data for use and decision making. Finally, the role will provide training and capacity building support to program teams in the areas of data management, visualization and VfM, and promote the overall efforts around data standardization and data use in countries and programs.
The MEL position is a critical role that requires the incumbent to master organizational performance metrics, data collection, analysis, and reporting, as well as demonstrate exception skill with visualization platforms.
