The Belfry Meetings and Events:

Our Meetings & Events department features 24 stylish event spaces capable of hosting gatherings from small meetings to large weddings and corporate events. With over 120 team members, we serve up to 800 guests simultaneously, ensuring seamless and memorable events, from celebrity golf days to themed BBQs.

The on-target annual earning potential for this role is £32,385.94, including a base salary of £31,005.34 and estimated gratuities of £1,380.60.

About the role

As a Senior Meeting & Events Coordinator, you will work across various functions, advising and managing the team. We offer a 45-hour workweek with flexible shifts, including weekends, to promote work-life balance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all BEO details are accurate before events and communicated to relevant departments
  • Training casual team members weekly on upselling and product knowledge
  • Providing excellent customer service to guests
  • Supervising and supporting multiple conference and banqueting events

About you

  • Driven to deliver exceptional customer service in a stunning environment
  • Experienced supervisor, preferably in M&E, with leadership skills; training provided if from other hospitality backgrounds
  • An inspirational leader who develops their team and promotes our food and drinks offerings
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Problem-solving skills with initiative and focus on seamless service
  • Ability to build strong relationships with guests, team, and colleagues
