The Royal Marsden seeks an enthusiastic Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join the Private Care Pharmacy team. You will help ensure safe, effective, patient-centred medicines management for oncology and haemato-oncology patients, working closely with Pharmacists, Doctors and Nurses across outpatient, inpatient and day-unit settings.

This role offers the chance to develop specialist skills in a leading oncology environment where medicines management and patient safety are central.

• Work collaboratively with wider Pharmacy teams and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive a safe, effective and efficient medicines management service.
• Contribute to medicines optimisation, patient safety, clinical governance and quality improvement within the service for Private Care.
• Contribute to the continuous review and development of pharmacy services within Private Care, identifying opportunities to improve medicines management, patient safety and efficiency.
• To support the Lead Pharmacist in ensuring a prompt, safe and efficient medicines management and supply service is provided across Private Care.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our Private Care Pharmacy team. You will play a key role in providing safe, effective and patient-centred medicines management for oncology and haemato-oncology patients.

Working closely with Pharmacists, Doctors, Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure patients receive the right medicines, information and support throughout their treatment. You will contribute to medicines optimisation across outpatient, inpatient and day-unit settings, supporting safe and effective care.

Main duties of the job
