Job summary

The Royal Marsden Private Care team is seeking an enthusiastic Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to provide safe, patient-centred medicines management for oncology and haemato-oncology patients across outpatient, inpatient and day-unit settings.

You will work closely with Pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate medicines reconciliation, patient information and adherence support as part of continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) to undertake final accuracy checks.
• Strong medicines reconciliation and patient information skills.
• Ability to work within oncology pharmacy teams and multidisciplinary care settings.

Responsibilities

• Support operational delivery of medicines optimisation services across Private Care.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy, medical, nursing and MDT colleagues to ensure safe medicines management.
• Contribute to medicines optimisation, patient safety, governance and quality improvement within Private Care.
