As you'd expect, we're strong on the science. But we bring a creative flair and strategic thinking to medical communications, working closely with our integrated Digital, Insights, and Creative teams to ultimately drive positive change in healthcare.

What sets our team apart is our enthusiasm, authenticity, and professional-personal approach. We are a team that you will enjoy working with.

  • Critically appraising medical research and ensuring scientific accuracy in our work.
  • Building relationships with clients and healthcare professionals to be viewed as a strategic partner and communications expert.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior writers as you develop in your career, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Opportunities to contribute to strategic planning and new business development.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Strong scientific background, educated to a minimum degree level in life sciences (MSc/PhD advantageous).
  • At least 4 years' experience in Medical Communications.
  • Broad knowledge of therapy areas.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive solutions-focused attitude.
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Location

Our team meets regularly at our Central London office, so the ideal candidate would be open to joining us in person at least 2 days a week. Madano offers flexible start/end times around core working hours, and working from home is certainly an option.

  • Life Assurance at 4x your salary
  • Financial support and advice
  • Travel insurance (for you and your family)
  • Annual wellness benefit of £150
  • Four-week sabbatical after every 5 years of service
