Ashfield MedComms, An Inizio Company is seeking a Senior Medical Writer with oncology publications expertise to contribute to an established medical communications account. You will write, develop and review data manuscripts, reviews, abstracts, posters and oral presentations, while ensuring patient-centric content across therapeutic areas.

Role Profile

We have a vacancy for a Senior Medical Writer for an established publications and medical affairs account working on several Oncology products for a global pharmaceutical client. With therapy area knowledge including Oncology, your experience writing, developing and reviewing related content within a Healthcare/Medical Communications setting will be a critical success factor.

Reporting to a Scientific Team Director, you will assist the scientific lead of an existing team and will use your medical communications expertise to work with colleagues and clients as a trusted professional. The team supports all types of scientific publications, including data manuscripts, review articles, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations. You will have experience in patient-focused publications. Additionally, you will be responsible for line management, mentorship, and reviewing work of junior team members to ensure the highest standards are met throughout.
