Ashfield MedComms, part of Inizio Medical, is seeking a Senior Medical Writer for oncology publications to support data manuscripts, reviews, abstracts, posters, and presentations.

Reporting to a Scientific Team Director, you will mentor junior team members, lead publication projects, and ensure high-quality scientific output for a global pharmaceutical client. Hybrid/remote UK work options available.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical writing for healthcare/publications.
• Strong knowledge of oncology publications and guidelines.
• Ability to mentor junior writers and manage publication projects.

Role Profile

We have a vacancy for a Senior Medical Writer for an established publications and medical affairs account working on several Oncology products for a global pharmaceutical client. With therapy area knowledge including Oncology, your experience writing, developing and reviewing related content within a Healthcare/Medical Communications setting will be a critical success factor.

Reporting to a Scientific Team Director, you will assist the scientific lead of an existing team and will use your medical communications expertise to work with colleagues and clients as a trusted professional. The team supports all types of scientific publications, including data manuscripts, review articles, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations. You will have experience in patient-focused publications. Additionally, you will be responsible for line management, mentorship, and reviewing work of junior team members to ensure the highest standards are met throughout.
