Senior Medical Writer

Hybrid - UK Remote

We are seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join our Medical Affairs / Commercial teams, focusing on groundbreaking research communication. This role is ideal for an experienced writer with background in therapeutic areas such as Obesity, Hepatology (MASH), Renal, or Cardiovascular. The position offers strategic partnership with our client and modern work practices, providing excellent career development support from a highly experienced team.

As a Senior Medical Writer, you will develop scientific expertise in your assigned therapeutic areas, supporting a versatile team. Key responsibilities include researching and developing technical materials, ensuring outputs align with briefs, are accurate in content and style, and are properly referenced. You will also liaise with clients and KOLs on content development and attend scientific meetings.

To succeed, you will have:

• Previous experience in Medical Writing within a medical communications agency.
• An academic background in the life sciences.
• Experience in producing a range of scientific deliverables such as publications, training materials, slide sets, interactive content, conference booths, and competitive intelligence for various medical audiences.
• Reviewing experience.

You will report to a Senior Scientific Director and collaborate with the senior leadership team.
