About the Role

We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Medical Writer to join our growing team and contribute to impactful medical communications projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on key accounts and play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical content.

This isn't just about writing; it's about crafting compelling narratives that translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging, and impactful messages. As a Senior Medical Writer at Ogilvy Health, you'll be a vital voice in shaping the future of healthcare, working on cutting-edge projects that make a real difference in patients' lives.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a wide range of medical communication materials, including congress materials (e.g., posters, presentations), advisory board materials (e.g., discussion guides, summaries), digital assets (e.g., websites, interactive tools), slide decks, workshop materials, and other medical affairs and marketing materials.
  • Work closely with our client teams to understand project objectives and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Conduct literature searches and data analysis to support content development.
  • Ensure all materials are accurate, scientifically sound, and compliant with relevant guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., account managers, creative designers) to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What You'll Need

  • Significant experience as a Medical Writer in a medical communications agency.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical data, and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working on a variety of medical communication projects.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in Renal is desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
