We require an experienced and dedicated Senior Medical Technologist specialising in respiratory equipment to join our dynamic team at the Lane Fox Unit. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and technical support of life-support equipment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care, contributing directly to the well-being of patients in both hospital and community settings.
We are inviting applications for a new Technologist to join the Technical Services team, working on a range of standard and specialist medical equipment with particular emphasis on respiratory care.
Successful applicants for the full senior position must demonstrate relevant work experience. They should have a degree in a relevant science subject (or equivalent experience) and a major interest in respiratory technology.
If necessary, training will be provided under Annex 21, with progression to the senior band 6 position after training.
If offered a training contract, you will be paid a training salary as a percentage of the top of Band 6.
Training pay scale: Up to 12 months prior to completion of training: 75% of the pay band maximum; more than one but less than two years prior: 70% of the pay band maximum.
