Job description

Job Title: Secretarial Support within Surgical Directorate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Secretarial team within the Surgical Directorate, working Trust-wide. We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to provide secretarial support.

Job Details
  1. Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours (further details can be provided to the successful candidate).
  2. We offer agile working arrangements.
  3. Location: Plastics Team at North Tyneside General Hospital, with potential to work at other Trust locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive secretarial services to consultants and their teams.
  • Supervise and support team members, including rostering, return-to-work processes, and daily management.
  • Perform transcription, administrative, and secretarial duties.
Candidate Requirements
  • Ability to use own initiative, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT packages; support for G2 software will be provided.
  • Desirable: ECDL certification, knowledge of PAS, and previous healthcare experience.
