Job description

Alumis Inc. is a precision medicines company dedicated to transforming the lives of patients with autoimmune diseases. Despite recent treatment innovations, many patients with immunologic conditions continue to suffer. Our goal is to fundamentally change their outcomes.

We are seeking a Senior MSL/MSL for a strategic, field-based role focused on developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key external experts (KEEs) in Dermatology and Rheumatology, as well as other healthcare professionals (HCPs). The MSL will support trial enrollment, educate on disease states and clinical trial outcomes, and gather insights to inform internal strategies, representing the voice of KEEs, HCPs, and payers. The role aims to optimize patient care through engagement and collaboration with the medical community and is critical throughout the product lifecycle, including successful drug launches.

  • Rockies/Pacific Northwest

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with KEEs in Dermatology and Rheumatology
  • Mapping, identifying, profiling, and prioritizing thought leaders in line with medical plans
  • Managing your assigned geography proactively
  • Supporting clinical development, including site identification and trial recruitment
  • Representing Alumis at medical conferences
  • Collaborating on medical affairs initiatives such as publications, advisory boards, and educational opportunities
  • Serving as a scientific resource internally and externally
  • Providing up-to-date medical information and disease expertise to the medical community
  • Gathering insights from HCPs to inform medical strategy
  • Training internal stakeholders on scientific topics
  • Maintaining compliant communication with stakeholders
  • Leading or contributing to medical workstreams and projects
  • Documenting activities accurately

Experience and qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a scientific, clinical, or medical discipline (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MSN, DNP, PA-C, MPH); dermatology or rheumatology experience is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years in an MSL role supporting clinical development studies
  • Established networks in Dermatology and/or Rheumatology KEEs
  • Understanding of compliance requirements
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60%, including some weekends

The salary range is $220,000 to $230,000 USD annually, with actual compensation based on experience and company practices.
