Senior Medical Science Liaison - Type 1 Diabetes

MSLs are the extension of the medical function in the field. You will build constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to disseminate scientific information and generate insights. MSLs provide field or hybrid medical support that is aligned and integrated to the overall medical strategy. Reporting to T1D Medical Head, this role is strategically positioned to realize the ambition for T1D and contribute to the overall future success of Sanofi.

Main responsibilities:

1. Engages proactively and reactively with healthcare professionals and institutions.
2. Engages external stakeholders on medical and scientific information exchange for the therapeutic area during one-to-one interactions and group settings.
3. Organizes and engages KOLs & HCPs during local group scientific meetings (hospital staff meetings, webinars, etc.) according to the Stakeholder Engagement plan, aligned with the Medical plan.
4. Develops and maintains trusted partnerships through scientific engagement and exchange with healthcare professionals and institutions.
5. Communicates the clinical value of the products to population-health/formulary decision makers (outcomes Liaisons, as applicable).
6. Provides high-quality, accurate, balanced, and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests, supports investigator study submissions, and manages local advisory boards.
7. Develops and executes individual stakeholder engagement plans aligned with the Medical Plan.
8. Generates high-value, actionable insights and proposes solutions.
9. Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders while maintaining compliance with company, industry, legal, and regulatory requirements.
10. Contributes to evidence-generation activities supporting internal projects.

Education

Advanced degree in a scientific or medical field (MSc, PhD, Pharm D) preferred.
