A prominent NHS hospital in Bath is seeking a motivated Medical Laboratory Assistant to join the Cellular Pathology team. The role involves providing laboratory support, managing specimen data, and assisting in histological and cytological processes. Ideal candidates will have NVQ level 3 or equivalent and ideally experience in pathology. This is a full-time position with a commitment to a compassionate and inclusive work environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, accurate and motivated Medical Laboratory Assistant (Clinical Support Worker) to join our team in Cellular Pathology, at the Royal United Hospital, in Bath.

This is a permanent full-time post (37.5 hours per week), weekdays only, with variable hours between 08:00 and 17:30. The position will be based in the Histology section, which processes about 30,000 histology cases per annum. The Herschel Pathology Laboratories are in modern facilities; we are IBMS-accredited for training and hold UKAS accreditation.
