Backed by a $200M investment led by General Atlantic, we became the first product of our kind to reach a $1B valuation in 2024 - and we're not slowing down. With 6M paid subscribers and the highest-rated experience in the App Store's health category, we've spent 10 years earning trust at scale. Now, we're building the next generation of digital health - AI-powered, privacy-first, clinically backed - to help our users know their body better.

The job

Medical and scientific credibility is the foundation. It's the core of who and what Flo is. As a group, these teams engage medical experts (120+ and counting!), establish research partnerships (Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, and others), help developers design our intuitive AI tools, check our medical accuracy, and more.

  • Collaborating with various teams across Flo to brainstorm, brief, and review medical marketing content for accuracy and reliability.
  • Working closely with team members to peer-review concepts and campaigns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to latest medical guidelines.
  • Supporting the development of onboarding flows by gathering medical research and contributing to onboarding creation.
  • Providing expert input on medical risk assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance of marketing materials.
  • Attending team meetings and stand-ups with medical and other teams.
  • Using tools like Figma, Jira, Miro, and Google Workspace to manage work effectively.
Targets
  • Being the main medical contact for marketing at Flo.
  • Introducing new medically appropriate ideas to marketing teams.
  • Aiming for 100% medical accuracy in all communications, collaborating with our Medical Experts board and in-house medical team.
  • Improving the medical review workflow within supported teams.

You'll be part of the User Centric team, working alongside experienced colleagues passionate about women's health. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your medical expertise to promote Flo accurately and credibly to millions of women. Our team values collaboration and knowledge sharing, making it a great environment for impactful work.
