Job summary

Havas Media Group in Manchester is seeking a Planning Manager to join the BBC account within the Client Planning team. You will shape planning for BBC Sport, iPlayer, Sounds, News and CBBC, coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver impactful campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing comprehensive media plans
• Ability to conduct audience research and translate insights into plans
• Strong understanding of multi‑channel planning and analytics tools
• Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering on briefs
• Experience mentoring juniors and coordinating with internal/external teams

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive media plans aligned with business and marketing goals
• Conduct audience research to understand demographics, behaviours and media consumption patterns
• Lead multi‑platform campaigns across channels to maximise reach and impact
• Manage budgets, timelines and client expectations to ensure timely delivery
• Coach and develop Executives, contributing to team growth and capability building
• Collaborate with creative, media specialists and partner teams to execute campaigns
• Monitor performance and optimise plans based on data and learnings
• Maintain strong client relationships and clear communication across stakeholders
