Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a media or PR role.
  • Experience in working with autistic individuals and their families is preferred.

Who we are looking for:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Media Officer to join our busy PR and Social media team to help shape the stories we tell about our charity and increase understanding of autism. Our new Senior Media Officer will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to PR activity to support the charity's mission, campaigns and services.
  • Ensure the smooth the day-to-day running of the charity's busy press office.
  • Write compelling copy for a range of media materials.
  • Working with autistic people and families to ensure their experiences are reflected in the media.

This role will report to the Media Manager.

This is a permanent role, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
