Job summary

Future Talent Group is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to develop, test, validate, and improve complex mechatronic products within an advanced manufacturing context. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware disciplines to drive product lifecycle execution from concept to production.

Qualifications

Experience developing automation equipment, robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics and panel documentation.
Experience integrating mechanical, electrical and control systems.
Experience in product lifecycle testing and validation.
Understanding of electrical systems, CAD data and technical drawings.
Knowledge of FMEA, RCCA, DFM, DFA and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

Develop new mechatronic products from concept through to production.
Lead testing, validation, reliability, and performance assessments.
Investigate technical issues and drive continuous product improvement.
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, firmware, and production teams.
Help mature engineering processes and product development standards as the business scales.
