Senior Mechanical Technician - High Wycombe - GBP36,000pa plus benefits

A global specialist manufacturer with an impressive history and industry presence is seeking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Technician. Join a talented manufacturing team, where you'll ensure that high-tech products are fully assembled and tested before delivery to customers.

This hands-on mechanical role is ideally suited for someone passionate about mechanical assembly and production work. Our client’s products involve a combination of mechanical components, making each build slightly different to meet design specifications. Key experience required includes working with UHV, Ultra High Vacuum equipment, and pumping technology.

Requirements:

• A recognised relevant engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship, NVQ, etc.
• Practical knowledge of machining, welding, leak detection, mechanical and electrical/electronic assembly, wiring looms, soldering, and bench assemblies.
• Experience with UHV Ultra High Vacuum systems.
• Background in manufacturing or production roles.
• Understanding of production processes.
• Analytical skills for fault finding and repair.
• Strong technical and product knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
