Job summary

STS Group Limited is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead on-site execution for mission-critical data centre projects in Slough. You will supervise mechanical installation teams, ensure adherence to drawings and specifications, and coordinate with electrical and CSA supervisors to align work fronts.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in supervising heavy industrial or major commercial projects, with trade qualifications and a strong focus on QA/QC, safety, and accurate site records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Supervisor on heavy industrial, data centre or major projects.
• Qualified tradesperson preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Experience supervising plumbing and HVAC installations.
• Training in Working at Heights and Abrasive Wheel would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Daily management, supervision, and reporting of direct labour resources and safe execution of works.
• Supervise mechanical installation teams and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with electrical and CSA supervisors to align work fronts.
• Monitor progress against milestones and resolve issues quickly.
• Oversee QA/QC procedures, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Manage redline drawings, as-built documentation, and site records.
• Project administration and reporting of site operations and subcontractors.
• Maintain health, safety and sustainability best practices on site.
