NTT Global Data Centers EMEA UK ltd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Solutions Engineer to act as the mechanical SME within our Global Solutions Engineering team. You will develop innovative, scalable data center solutions for hyperscale, AI/HPC, and enterprise customers, focusing on high-density, liquid-cooled environments.

You will translate complex requirements into practical designs, support pre-sales from concept to presentation, and engage with customers, sales, and delivery stakeholders

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; master's degree is a plus.
• Strong expertise in data center mechanical infrastructure and thermodynamic/hydraulic principles.
• Experience with liquid cooling for high-density compute, including CDUs and cooling systems.
• Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer registration desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the EMEA Mechanical SME and escalation point for Solutions Engineering.
• Lead mechanical solutioning for hyperscale, AI/HPC, and enterprise opportunities with focus on liquid cooling.
• Translate RFPs, SOQs, and design criteria into mechanical concepts aligned with standards and schedules.
• Develop schematic design concepts with P&IDs, equipment layouts, and piping concepts.
• Prepare detailed schematic packages for construction teams to establish pricing and assess risks.
• Perform engineering calculations: cooling load, flow, pump head, and heat transfer.
• Define interfaces between liquid cooling and base-building infrastructure.
