Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical packages on commercial and industrial projects. You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate direct labour and subcontractors, and ensure work is performed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

This nationwide contractor handles projects in commercial offices, education, healthcare, and industrial facilities with values up to £5 million.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Mechanical Site Manager or Supervisor.
• Strong background in mechanical building services.
• Experience on commercial and/or industrial projects.
• Able to manage multiple trades and interfaces.
• SMSTS or SSSTS (essential).
• CSCS card (essential).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical site activities from start to completion.
• Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors on site.
• Planning and managing programmes and site logistics.
• Ensuring works are delivered to drawings and specifications.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance.
• Attending site meetings and liaising with main contractors and consultants.
• Managing quality checks, snagging, and commissioning support.
