Job summary

Leo Lynch, a specialist in complex engineering and construction projects, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager based in Oxford with flexibility for UK travel. You will lead the technical queries and steer design coordination while ensuring QA compliance and on-schedule delivery.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience with a recognised mechanical/contractor in process mechanical/pipework.
Excellent organisational and project planning skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in Navisworks and related engineering databases.
Experience with Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM processes.

Responsibilities

Support engineering requirements by liaising with key stakeholders (client design team, main contractor, suppliers, subcontractors).
Familiarisation with design/IFC specs and drawings to understand project scope.
Coordinate with BIM personnel to transform design info into installation drawings and ensure schedule priority.
Ensure engineering activities support the construction build schedule (procurement, etc).
Prepare and issue technical submittals and track approvals.
Engage vendors for technical support and value engineering solutions.
Manage material procurement and equipment delivery to site.
Ensure works meet project specifications and QA plan; conduct site audits.
