Job Description:

Kier Group is looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our internal MEP business, Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME).

KME works internally and partners with our regional construction business to deliver MEP solutions across various sectors.

Hours: Full time, Permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee installation of Mechanical elements on assigned projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Kier standards, UK law, and project requirements, focusing on safety, quality, and statutory compliance.
  • Collaborate with design teams and clients to optimize designs for efficient, safe, and compliant construction.
  • Manage project controls including change, risk, opportunity, and quality assurance.
  • Lead and support project team members, setting clear expectations and managing performance.
  • Deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgets, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and demonstrate sound decision-making aligned with commercial priorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical expertise in Mechanical Services and safety, with relevant industry qualifications.
  • CSCS and SMSTS accreditation at minimum.
  • Experience overseeing Mechanical Services installation on large-scale construction projects preferred.
