Job summary

Elite Sourcing is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer in West London to lead the development of the procurement function. You will build a robust supplier network across Mechanical Building Services, HVAC and plumbing, negotiate terms and manage sourcing for multiple live projects.

You will drive purchasing controls, implement policies, and identify cost-saving opportunities while collaborating with Directors and Project Managers to support continued growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Buyer, Procurement Manager or Purchasing Manager within Mechanical Building Services or M&E contracting.
• Established network of UK mechanical suppliers, merchants and manufacturers.
• Strong Excel and procurement systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and developing the procurement function.
• Build and maintain a preferred supplier network across Mechanical Building Services, HVAC and plumbing.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and terms; manage quotations, POs and deliveries.
• Develop procurement policies, procedures and purchasing controls.
• Support multiple live mechanical projects and monitor supplier performance.
